Ministry of Supply launched a Kickstarter campaign, boasting an intelligent heated jacket that is voice-controlled and capable of adapting to the individual wearer. The 'Mercury' "automatically heats to the right temperature and learns [the consumer's] behavior to get better over time."
The built-in heaters are nearly weightless, while the outer shell of the heated jacket is resistant to wind, water and odor. Featuring a sleek and timeless design, Mercury is able to sense motion or dropping temperatures and activate accordingly. In addition, the outerwear can be switched on through a smart voice assistant like Amazon Alexa.
To better performance and comfort, the heated jacket also features a four-way stretch fabric that extends and moves, depending on activity, as well as a wireless charging system for personal electronics.
