The new Domino’s Heat Boots use the brand’s pizza delivery bag insulation technology scaled up into winter footwear designed to retain warmth and repel snow and slush. The branded boots borrow thermal insulation materials from the pizza chain’s long-standing Hot Bag system. Notably, this was a material originally developed to keep pies hot during delivery, and adapted them into oversized, padded boots with an exterior built for cold-weather terrain.
The outer shell of the Heat Boots is water repellent, while the sole features a tread pattern inspired by pizza motifs to improve grip on icy pavements. One version of the boots includes a detachable pocket sized for a Garlic & Herb dip container, and the interior uses air-filled cushioning layers to reduce heat loss and soften impact on rough surfaces.
