Now Alison Hansel is finding a way for the ultimate fan to get create with Harry Potter inspired projects in her new book, Charmed Knits.
Aliison Hansel, 11, suggested the book to the Globe and Mail. “I thought that the coolest thing in this book was the Bookscarves, which are basically bookmarks in the shape of mini-scarves,” she says.
“I like Harry Potter, but it might be kind of awkward to walk around wearing a sweater with an initial H on it, unless your name started with that initial. Some of the patterns are slightly strange.”
