This Harper’s Bazaar UK February 2014 fashion shoot takes the clothing of the coming season and brings them back to the art that inspired their design.
Photographer Tom Allen snapped up this surreal style shoot set in an art gallery. Model Janice Alida posed next to art pieces that inspired the outfits she was wearing. Each ensemble change meant a new area of the gallery was captured. Alida herself was styled with a short choppy bob, wing-tipped eyeliners and nude lipstick. Her face is as pale and smooth as a marble bust.
All the clothing in this Harper’s Bazaar UK February 2014 style spread is intricate and interesting, most of the pieces are very colorful. The garments are put in front of art displays that perfectly complement them. For instance, a dress with a face on it is in front of a hall of gilt-framed paintings and a dress with blue running lines going down white fabric is put in front of a giant eye.
