LG is now leveraging its technology to enter the beauty world with the introduction of the LG hair growth helmet -- a high-tech device that's positioned to fight hair loss.
Over 50 million men are effected by alopecia, which is also referred to as male pattern baldness. While there's medications on the market, there's few non-medicinal treatments that are both convenient and effective. LG's device, the MediHair is slated to combat this, offering a futuristic alternative to hair loss with proven results. The device is made with 146 laser and 104 LED lights that stimulate the follicle, successfully resulting in hair growth.
During its trial phase, patients saw results after using this device three times a week for 16 weeks.
