Gucci Hysteria Campaign

Gucci has unveiled a rather unique ad campaign for its Hysteria Collection. The ads feature British model Lily Donaldson embracing and flirting with a knight in golden Gucci armor.

While getting busy with the armored knight, Donaldson wears trendy shoes, bags, accessories, coats and assorted fashion items from the Hysteria collection.

And while you can score a bag for a couple of thousand dollars, you need upwards of $13,000 to get your hands on some of the coats and necklaces.

My favorite piece, the horsebit necklace with pendant in 18kt yellow gold sells for $13900. The $545 blue softened denim 70's base pant with GG interlocking patch detail also looks particularly good on Donaldson's fit body.

Donaldson has the honor of currently appearing on the British Vogue August 2008 cover (see gallery). This is her first solo Vogue cover. She appeared on the cover of American Vogue last year alongside models Jessica Stam, Raquel Zimmermann, Agyness Deyn, Coco Rocha, Hilary Rhoda, Chanel Iman, Sasha Pivovarova, Doutzen Kroes, and Caroline Trentini as the new crop of supermodels.
