Those looking to take a group shot have another option now that the Groopic app is out. It used to be that you would either need to find a kind stranger or settle for a selfie if everyone wanted to be in the picture. Groopic changes that, letting you get the photographer in the photo in way that looks natural.
To use the app, you first take a photo of the group. Then, the photographer switches places with those in the first picture. You mark down who was in the first shot and then take the second photo of only the original photographer. The Groopic app adds everyone into the final version, making it look as if the entire group was together all along. Groopic is free for iOS and Android but does charge 0.99 for saving photos and sharing them on social media.
