American-Themed Patriotic Sneakers

Nike Celebrates July 4th with a New Air Griffey Max 1 Shoe

As the Fourth of July is just around the corner, Nike celebrates the occasion with a new iteration of the Air Griffey Max 1 sneaker model. The American-themed sneaker is captured through the patriotic color palette that details the entire silhouette in a blue, white, and red hue.

Using the brand's signature Old Royal and Gym Red across the shoe, it has a white leather foundation as the base. It is then detailed with the aforementioned Old Royal blue at the nubuck mudguard section of the shoe, and the same color can also be seen at the mid-foot strap and the velcro secured enclosure. Red makes its way onto the shoe at the tongue pull tab, the plastic loop, custom Swoosh, embroidered outline, and eye stays.
