Nike is adding a fresh silhouette to its Greater Than basketball range with the GT Uptempo, a performance shoe featuring a grid-patterned upper and Air Zoom cushioning. The release brings the GT family back to three models in 2027, giving players beyond Nike’s signature athletes another option on court.
The design takes cues from across the range, pairing a shape reminiscent of the GT Cut 3 with a midsole that extends beyond the heel, echoing the GT Cut 4. Spurs guard Dylan Harper has already debuted the shoe and is expected to wear more versions during games.
The GT Uptempo is expected to arrive in 2027, with a tentative February 11 release date and a $200 price tag. Its distinctive upper and early on-court visibility give Nike another way to build interest in its wider basketball lineup.
