Green-Thumbed Sneakers

The Nike GS Football Boot is Composed of Ultra Slick Recycled Materials

Composed almost entirely of recycled and sustainable materials, the Nike GS Football Boot is durable and ultra-lightweight. The green-toed boots weigh in at an impressive 160 grams, making this one feather light pair of runners.

The internal sock lining is made solely with castor beans, while the lining, tongue and laces are constructed of 70% recycled plastic bottles and polyester. Nike unveiled the eco-friendly speed sneaker at the 2012 London summer games and boasts it is the "lightest and fastest football boot we’ve ever made." The high-end shoe is a triple threat powerhouse where renewable, recyclable and performance come together in one slick look.

Designed to withstand the high-paced European sport, the Nike GS Football Boot will give wings to even the fastest players on the field.
