Laurie Sandell had an anything-but-normal childhood and she has her father to thank for that. After some time of sitting down on her father's knee and being recited biographical stories of his past, she began to discover that many were completely false.
The graphic memoir of Laurie Sandell’s realizations are contained within the pages of her book, "The Imposter’s Daughter." Not many people could say that they have had their identity stolen by their father or that they worked at a strip bar in Toyko or that they were mates with Ashley Judd.
The illustrated book makes the tales more colorful and engaging, but it gives you an inkling that Laurie Sandell may be just as good at embellishing stories as her dear dad.
