This Gloverall Collection is Inspired by 1950s Style

British lifestyle brand Gloverall takes a nostalgic approach for its 2015 Fall/Winter collection 'Gloverall 51.' In finding inspiration for the collection, Gloverall decided to invert the year from '15 to '51, as the basis for its retro-themed collection. In addition to this, Gloverall recreated iconic sporting moments in the brand's storied past.

The collection features prominent British fabrics like tweed, wax cotton and corduroy. The pallet for the Fall/Winter lookbook consist of dark navy blues, charcoal grays and midnight black. These are contrasted with hints of khaki, tan and red.

The collection heavily features a car-racing theme, with the use of racetrack settings and vintage cars. Many pieces feature a "51" logo, to further identify the newest collection.
