While you might have tried gingerbread-flavored coffee before, this gingerbread smoothie is perhaps more apt for warmer climates. This is ideal for countries in the southern hemisphere that have summer now, or places that are currently experiencing warmer than normal temperatures for this time of year.

Created by Beth from the food blog Tasty Yummies, the gingerbread smoothie recipe is also great for people who have restricted diets and food allergies. To make your own, you will need holiday-appropriate ingredients such as unsulphured blackstrap molasses, ground cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and allspice. You will also need a banana, vanilla almond milk (or the non-dairy milk of your choice), vanilla extract, flax seed meal (ground chia seeds will also work) and ice.
