Vstone corporation, a Japanese robot company, has released a kit for a remote control robot based on Gigantor / Tetsu-jin 28. The 15 inch robot runs can walk smoothly like a human being. It runs for about $3,000... but how can you put a price on having more awesome robots than your neighbors?
Implications - 15 inches might not seem like a huge robot, but when you can effortlessly control one that size suddenly doesn't seem so bad at all. Just imagine all the playful havoc that you could wreak with this bad boy. While the $3,000 price tag might make the Gigantor Testu-jin 28 Robot out of reach for most enthusiasts, those who can afford to get their hands on one will be the envy of their friends for sure.
