Resturant Gift Card Websites

The SaveOurFaves Gift Card Site Was Launched to Help Restaurants

Mike Krieger, the co-founder of Instagram, created a gift card site that will help local restaurants stay in business. The gift card site is titled SaceOurFaves, and it is a collection of restaurants located thin the Bay Area. Through the site, gift cards can be purchased, which can help to alleviate the financial burden that restaurants are facing due to the outbreak of the virus. The site provides tools to search for an area or search for specific establishments.

Mike Krieger spoke about the new site, “We’re no longer going out because of COVID-19 (San Francisco is under a “shelter in place” ordinance), so we started buying gift cards to help support our favorite cafes and restaurants during this unpredictable time."
