Trend Hunter's Innovation eLearning YouTube videos cover Forecasting Micro-Generations and Gen Z Desires. Z Tribe and Z Alpha make up Gen Z, who is born between 1999 to now. These micro generations are also known as Neo-Digital Natives (Japan), iGen (Canada), and The Centennials (Europe). Z Tribe’s formative years are immediately focused on autonomy and using social media to explore. This generation emphasizes creating a global community and promoting activism while shaping the future as we know it. Insights like Teen Payment hone in on how providing Z Tribe with financial education at a young age contributes positively to this generation’s perception of the future.

76% of Z Tribe wish businesses would pay more attention to their feedback. Second, 70% of them see equality to be a generational issue.

Gen Alpha are the result of pro-millennial parenting, so a popular trend is emerging called resilience parenting. The opposite of helicopter parenting is, in a sense, resilience parenting.
