Awake NYC Joins ASICS On Two Tonal GEL-NYC Sneaker Models

ASICS works in collaboration with Awake NYC on two colorway iterations of its new GEL-NYC sneaker models for the season. The two colorways are boldly designed and blend together the upper from the GEL-Nimbus 3 and borrow tooling details from the GEL-Cumulus 16 sneaker.

Additionally, it also has elements from the GEL-MC Plus V and it starts off with bright teal and pink for the first colorway. The second colorway is detailed with purple and gold details on top of silver mesh materials at the base of the shoe. The first colorway is inspired by Cam'Rom and his iconic photo from 2002 wearing pink fur from head to toe. The second colorway is inspired by the purple cassette tape from Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.
