ASICS' Upgraded GEL-Kayano Sneakers Boasts Old School Elements

Footwear label ASICS digs into its archival footwear models and resurrects the original GEL-Kayano sneakers in the form of the 5 OG. The retro running shoe retains its functional sensibilities and boasts a color palette of white, blue, yellow, and black, with white serving as the foundation beneath the layering construction. Blue hues are splashed across the tongue tab, and through details on the sides and yellow brightens up the sneaker's branding accents on the ankle and heel cushioning.

To round out the entire GEL-Kayano sneakers are the concrete gray Duomax callout over the medial heel area and black stripes on top of the label's signature side stripe accent. The running shoes are set to drop online and at select retailers beginning November 17th.
