Biko's 'Galina' Collection Takes Inspiration from the Greek Word

Biko, a modern jewelry brand that often blends elements of nostalgic style into its pieces, unveiled the 'Galina' collection. As Biko states on its website, "Galina is a Greek word meaning 'calm; windless.'" and "Galina evokes a sense of comfort, a sense of oneness, of tranquility."

The collection includes both gold and silver variations, with a number of the elegant accessories complemented with pearl accents. These accents are present on a selection of stud earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Although not all pieces include the pearl accents, the whole collection maintains the matching gold and silver colorways, making it easy for consumers to mix the different pieces to create a beautifully cohesive look.

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Biko has also partnered with Rethink Breast Cancer to donate 20 percent of the proceeds earned from its exclusive rose gold jewelry line to the cause.
