The Beautiful New Galatasaray Jersey was Designed by Nike

Nike has unveiled the new Galatasaray jersey, to be worn by Turkey's most powerful soccer team during the 2014-15 season. The kit is intended to showcase the team's history and character as well as its forward-looking status as a modern powerhouse in European soccer.

The new kit features the classic red and yellow vertical stripes that have long adorned the Galatasaray jersey, and is especially inspired by the jersey worn by legendary Galatasaray players of the past like Metin Oktay.

The jersey is equipped with Nike's Dri-Fit technology, which draws sweat away from the body to the exterior of the shirt, from where it can quickly evaporate. This technology will allow Galatasaray's star players like Wesley Sneijder and Burak Yilmaz to perform at their world-class best by remaining cool, dry and comfortable.
