Photographer Steven Meisel brilliantly combined black and white imagery and colorful photos for Vogue Italia’s ‘Evolution’ 2009 editorial.
Meisel captured images of models wearing a variety of futuristic and cutting-edge fashions that would send Judy Jetson speeding to the ‘Orbit City Mall’ in her dad’s space car.
Also included in Vogue Italia’s ‘Evolution’ editorial is fantastic architecture from master architect Zaha Hadid--the designs are amazing.
Even though I cannot read Italian, I do know that the process of evolution signifies change. I think Vogue Italia did an excellent job at looking at some transitions we have to look forward to in the future.
