Fujifilm Releases Dynamic New Instant Camera, the Instax Mini Evo

Japanese photography brand Fujifilm has released the Instax Mini Evo, a new digital camera that allows users to print their shots on Instax Mini film. The hybrid unit features a retro build with top-mounted dials and a levered print control function.

Like the brand's other instant digital cameras, the Instax Mini Evo comes with a 3-inch LCD screen that can be used to frame shots before printing. In addition, the camera features ten different lens modes with ten filter options allowing for a total of 100 possible combinations. Adding to the camera's hybrid functionality, users can connect the Instax Mini Evo to a smartphone app where they can transfer images to their phone through Bluetooth.

Boasting 600 dpi, the Instax Mini Evo can produce the highest quality image of any Instax unit. In fact, according to the company, the new camera offers twice the exposure resolution of previous models.
