Machete Attack Games

The Friday the 13th Game Requires Players to Evade Machete Attacks

This new Friday the 13th game is completely licensed, and is the first video game based on the famous American horror franchise since 1989.

The game is essentially an asymmetrical multiplayer game. One person plays the role of Jason Voorhees while seven other players are counselors who are trying to escape Camp Crystal Lake. The counselors are drawn from a whole slew of typical horror tropes including an edgy guy, a 'girl next door', a nerd, a jock and of course a cheerleaders.

The counselors have to sneak through the grounds, with the person playing Jason able to hear when they move and show up directly behind them with a machete in hand. Jason's intentions are clear, but for the counselors, the Friday the 13th game is about strategy and skill.

Friday the 13th has given generations of people goosebumps, and now this game version is set to carry on the tradition.
