Frameri Lets You Swap Out Your Frames and Lenses at Will

Frameri is set on making owning multiple pairs of glasses a thing of the past. The California-based startup creates frames and lenses that are interchangeable. The idea is that glasses have become as much a fashion statement as the clothing that you wear, so why shouldn’t you be able to freely customize them?

In addition to the fashion aspect, Frameri frees wearers of glasses from having to constantly replace their specs. Should your frame or your lenses break, simply swap them out for a new pair. All of the frames are handmade and the lenses have a hard polymer coating to ensure that they stay durable over thousands of switch outs. Frameri took to Indiegogo to raise funds and has surpassed its goal of $30,000 with more than two week left on the campaign.
