Wildling Recognizes the Toll of Foot Changes During Pregnancy

Wildling, a company specializing in minimal footwear, is giving away 1,000 pairs of shoes to pregnant women to highlight the often-overlooked issue of foot changes during pregnancy. As pregnancy can cause feet to grow by up to one and a half sizes, Wildling's shoes, which feature a zero-drop sole and spacious design, aim to provide relief by allowing the feet to move naturally and reducing pressure on key areas. The giveaway runs from October 10 to November 6, 2024, and participants can choose from any available Wildling model.

Wildling's footwear is designed to provide comfort and promote healthy movement. Biomechanist Katy Bowman endorses Wildling’s approach: "What you wear on your feet changes where you can carry your weight, and in the case of pregnancy, how and where you're loading your body matters even more, since you have so much extra weight that your body is not accustomed to carrying."
