Japan's successful multinational athletic company ASICS has been updating its 'Gel-Lyte III' quite frequently as of late -- with the 'Flannel Tongue' colorway now joining an update which was done in celebration of the nation's recent fashion week, as well as another that sports a polka dot denim upper.
For the Flannel Tongue release, ASICS utilizes a black and white plaid pattern on the base of the upper and then decorates it with soft suede accents in black and gray, as well as an icy blue material to contrast it.
It's finished off with a clean white sole and it's point of origin is made clear by the iconic branding which appears on the sides. The name of the model is included in blue embroidery as well, written in the same Greek-like lettering that appears on other variations.
