Globalstar Europe Satellite Services Ltd. recently launched the second model of the FindMy Collar -- a device that tracks livestock animals using next-generation tracking. The upgraded version now features easy-to-use Bluetooth and a longer-life battery that can be replaced for lower maintenance.
The second-generation FindMy Collars use low-cost STX3 chipset that connect to a fleet of Low Earth Orbit satellites allowing farmers to track their cattle in regions without mobile phone networks. Due to the affordable pricing of this animal tracking collar, even customers who have farms in locations with ideal mobile coverage are opting to use FindMy Collars in lieu of other providers.
