'Filteroff' is a mobile speed dating app launched over the course of the CoViD-19 pandemic by Zach Schleien. This dating application innovates on the standard format by creating a remote speed dating solution. While many dating apps match users based on images on a scrolling feed of people, Filteroff matches individuals with one another based on interests and automatically schedules speed dates for the couples.

This is the world's first speed dating application, which is significant as it allows individuals to get a real sense of their potential dating partner that isn't manufactured through a prewritten biography or through custom filters, hence the name Filteroff. Filteroff schedules three speed dates for each user each night, however, the video dates are only 90 seconds. This allows for enough time to get through introductions and a brief interaction. Following these speed dates, the application will ask each participant if they would like to meet again or continue talking.
