If you thought chicken nuggets couldn't get any more affordable, they may become even less expensive as a result of a some revamped fast food menus courtesy of companies like McDonald's and Burger King.

As service industry brands begin to put more focus on convenience, their most popular menu items are getting a record-breaking price adjustment. After competing over low price fast food menus in the past, Burger King and McDonalds recently challenged each other again and have been the inspiration behind the lower priced initiatives of other brands.

Appealing to students, youth and low income demographics, fast food retailers are realizing that best-selling menu items have room to be more budget-conscious. The result is an industry shift that offers low-priced best-sellers to loyal consumers.
