Fashion magazines -- including big names like Vogue, Teen Vogue, Marie Claire, Glamour and Elle -- saw big drops in their sales in the last six months.
Like most other print, they are no doubt losing readers rapidly to sites like Trend Hunter. Even the mighty Oprah saw her O magazine fall in double digit percentages.
Some high powered editors have left. Amy Gross left O and Joanna Coles took over Marie Claire two years ago. Even powerhouse Cosmopolitan, the highly quoted magazine and Hearst Corps' most profitable title, dropped almost 7%. Seventeen joined Teen Vogue in seeing a big drop in the numbers.
