Books-A-Million and tokidoki are expanding limited-edition Unicorno collections with the Viridian Dragon line, a character-driven release spanning collectibles, stationery, and accessories. The centerpiece is an iridescent metallic Unicorno figure restricted to 3,006 pieces, with 50 available each day at New York Comic Con. Additional products include a hardcover journal, keychain, magnetic bookmarks, pin buttons, and a metallic sticker, each produced in runs of 1,088. The collection is also available through Books-A-Million and 2nd & Charles.
The collaboration uses limited quantities and convention exposure to build collector interest around exclusive merchandise. Extending one character across several product formats gives fans multiple purchasing options while broadening Books-A-Million’s assortment beyond books. The NYCC debut also connects the retailer directly with collector culture while giving tokidoki another channel for reaching its established fan community.
