Hybrid Extreme Sports Experiences

'Bun J Ride' Mixes Bungee Jumping, Ziplining and Skiing

The 'Bun J Ride' is a must-try extreme sports experience. The attraction at the Tignes ski resort, located in the French Alps, is a thrill that requires little training for a surge of adrenaline.

The premise of the Bun J Ride extreme sports experience is quite simple: a harness attaches to two mobile bungee cords, which are in contact with an overhead zipline. The thrill-seeker is able to bomb a 30-meter ramp with a 40-meter drop on skis, a snowboard or a sled. Depending on one's level of ability, the experience allows for the adrenaline junkie to soar through the air and do tricky maneuvers. The bungee cords keep participants safe and the zipline determines a risk-free trajectory, "eventually locking into place and allowing the ziplines to safely deposit [the thrill-seeker] back on the ground."
