Expedition Motor Company Debuts a New Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen Version

Expedition Motor Company has introduced a Long Wheelbase Cabrio version of its classic Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen. This release marks a departure from the company's focus on Short Wheelbase models.

Expedition Motor Company's new model aims to retain the authentic character of previous builds while increasing passenger capacity to eight. The inaugural vehicle features several enhancements, including new bucket seats, side steps, and 18-inch wheels. The powertrain for this model is based on a Mercedes OM606a 3.0-liter inline-six turbodiesel engine, which generates 275 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. This combination results in a blend of modern performance and traditional diesel reliability.

For auto enthusiasts seeking greater power, Expedition Motor Company provides a custom option to install a 430-horsepower GM LS3 V8 engine.
