Google announced a new feature for its suite of workspace apps titled 'Enhanced Tool Finder.' The Enhanced Tool Finder enables users to quickly find a desired tool or feature without needing to sift through a variety of menus, sub-menus, and in some cases, different webpages entirely. Currently, the Enhanced Tool Finder is available on Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. The tool finder can be accessed directly from the toolbar at the top of the app by clicking the magnifying glass and typing in the desired tool.
This tool finder will streamline usage of the Google Workspace apps, particularly for those who are less familiar with the menu layout for the services. Additionally, through this tool finder, many users will be able to discover services that they may have been previously unaware of.
