OPEL's new Corsa-e will be the world's first fully electric rally car. The company revealed its electric rally car before it is scheduled to be shown at the Frankfort Motor Show. The car is also scheduled to be one of the automobiles in the 2020 ADAC OPEL E-Rally Cup. The Corsa-e will replace the Adam A2 racer that was previously scheduled to attend the rally.
The electric car is powered by a 50kWh battery pack, which shares commonalities to the car's road edition. The rally car will have 134 BHP as well as 191 lb-ft of torque. It will also be able to reach speeds of 62 MPH within 8.1 seconds. Additionally, the car will come with a roll cage that has a lightweight design and will be limited to only 15 models.
