Vote-Encouraging Story Stickers

Instagram's Voting Stickers Encourage Voting on Election Day

With over 1 billion users, Instagram is a platform that can leverage its influence for the better, and with election day coming up, the social media platform is encouraging American users to vote.

September 22nd marks voter registration day in the United States, and to ensure as many people as possible are eligible to vote, the platform introduced adorable story stickers that remind users of what's happening politically. The goal of this initiative was to aid 4 million Americans in registering to vote. There are currently six stickers available, designed by six different artists. The stickers can be added to one's story as a cute decoration, informing followers that they'll be voting, and encouraging others to do the same.
