Japanese electronics giant Sony has unveiled an innovative new e-ink tablet that is essentially designed to function as a more compact and easily transportable version of its Digital Paper offering.
This new product, dubbed the DPT-CP1, is fitted with a high-tech e-ink display that features a tactile surface on which users can write and draw figures with the included stylus pen. The machine itself comes powered by a quad-core processor and offers 16 GB of memory, which is plenty of room for a device with a 10.3-inch display. This particular device also comes with a considerably long battery life of up to three weeks per a single charge, with included WiFi and Bluetooth taking care of your connectivity needs.
Set to be made available for a price of $650, the DPT-CP1 e-ink tablet caters to the growing market of electronics consumers looking for a flexible work device that's easy to carry around.
