Woman-Focused Content Editing Platforms

EditHers Connects Female Editors And Employers Directly

EditHers is a Discord-based platform created by former MrBeast lead editor Rachel Kisela to connect women video editors with hiring creators, featuring job listings, mentorship channels, and peer support. Kisela launched the community in 2024 after noticing that industry data and her own experience showed a large gender imbalance among video editors.

The server functions as part job board, part guild and part skills incubator, hosting nearly 200 editors and about 100 creators including Airrack and Smosh; it also ran a sponsored panel in Los Angeles to spotlight members. Conversations cover pay standards, negotiation tactics and technical workflows such as Adobe Premiere use.

For creators and editors, EditHers shortens hiring searches and helps women professionals set rates and navigate gig work, addressing access and retention in the creator economy. By aggregating candidates and shared knowledge, the platform makes hiring more equitable and practical for a fast-growing sector.
