The NYC Registor recently held an Edible QR Competition to see which foods could have a QR code printed and read on them by Google Googles on Android devices. As expected, the competition led to the creation of many tasty QR codes including -- but not limited to -- tortilla and waffle QR codes.
QR codes have become a big deal over the last few years as marketers look for new and different ways to reach their customers. I could easily see the Edible QR Competition leading to the creation of any number of edible QR codes in the near future. Food: the final frontier.
