Baffin has introduced the MIST, a new women’s winter boot that joins the brand’s Ease Collection as its first lace-up style. The mid-height boot combines a breathable nylon shell with a D-ring lace fastening system and a rear pull loop. The design of the silhouette aims to balance adjustability and easy entry.
The MIST model's Fixed-Fit multi-layer inner boot system incorporates Thermaplush™ wicking material, a B-Tek™ Foam lining, B-Tek™ Heat hollow-fibre insulation, and B-Tek™ Dry waterproof capabilities. This allows it to provide warmth and breathability across a range of temperatures. Traction and durability features include IceBite® for slip resistance on ice, Polar Rubber™ at the heel and forefoot, a LiteGrip™ and Hex-Flex® outsole, a reinforced Hex toecap, and a removable anti-fatigue insole.
The boot is rated Tundra under Baffin’s Real-World Tested™ system for moderate to high activity in snow-covered conditions between -10°C and -30°C.
