'Drupe' is the name of a new address book app that aims to make it extremely easy to keep in touch with friends.
While there are many flashy new features that are continually added to smartphones, the built-in address books rarely seem to change, leaving people scrolling until they come across a particular contact. Drupe is designed to organize contacts in an intuitive way, such as listing favorite contacts for WhatsApp, Facebook and Gmail. To chat with a particular contact, it's possible to interact with a person without having to open up the dedicated app—interactions can be sent across multiple platforms, all within Drupe.
As a start-up, Drupe startup recently received $3 million in funding led by Sweet Capital, which is a venture fund established by the founders of Candy Crush.
