Los Angeles-based photographer Nicole Anne Robbins was enchanted by Next LA model Allegra, whom she shot in a dreamy editorial for C-Heads.
Robbins describes the day by saying, "We quickly began a dialogue about life and psychic mysticism, which was heightened by her hauntingly knowing eyes that never swayed from contact. She danced in my halls as I had a camera between us, and chuckled to herself about the meaning of life." Despite her youth, Allegra had a steady stream of questions about the world, sparking an intimate, probing conversation between the two women.
Robbins admits that she was mesmerized by Allegra's stoicism as she propelled herself off the walls, moving with a grace and wisdom beyond her years. The photographs are a beautiful reminder of a deep encounter.
