These dot art paintings designed by New York-based artist Nathan Manire feature several people in dot paint format. It’s difficult to establish who most of the people are in these paintings, but it’s a fun game trying to figure out who’s who. A number of the dotted portraits are based on the photographs of Peter Zelewski.
Manire used several shades of watercolor to construct the faces of the characters in his portraits. The dotted portraits up-close won’t actually look like the face of a person; to appreciate the work, a person will have to squint a little bit or back away from the paintings to see the faces clearly.
