Molten Metal Fashion

Doo Ri Looks to Earthly Elements for Spring 2010

Designer Doo Ri built her fanbase upon slinky jersey dresses but has gone in a completely uncharacteristic direction this spring, revolving her design inspiration around earthly elements and emerging with hard-edged molten metal fashions.

The palette of grays, blacks and silvers was used on the models' makeup as well as their clothes, lending the girls lips a metallic-hued sheen. Doo Ri’s best molten metal fashions, perhaps, lie in her use of iron-sheened charmeuse, and chain-swathed tulle.
