Dog-Honoring Fundraising Campaigns

Universal Joint is Running Its Dogust Campaign in August

Universal Joint, a regional bar and grill chain known for its dog-friendly atmosphere, has initiated its first Dogust campaign. This is a month-long philanthropic effort that strives to support animal rescues across six Southeastern locations.

Universal Joint's Dogust centers around a signature cocktail — the Salty Doggo. The restaurant will donate one dollar from each purchase to pre-selected local nonprofits. Individuals will also have the option to make additional contributions at checkout. Each venue will host a Pup Patio Party on August 24, featuring giveaways and community gatherings to amplify engagement. Partner organizations include established rescues like PAWS Atlanta and Mountain Pet Rescue Asheville.

The Dougust campaign aligns with Universal Joint's existing Rotating Mule series, which showcases seasonal drinks while often incorporating charitable elements. This reinforces the brand’s identity as a neighborhood-centric business.
