As difficult as it is to believe, the material used to make this soft and sultry organic lingerie from Do You Green was once a festive evergreen Christmas tree.
By recycling prickly pine needles into a doughy wood cellulose where the fibers can be extracted, French designer Sophie Young creates a fabric that is said to be more hygienic because it is breathable and can circulate air easily, as trees do. On top of this, the fabric absorbs twice the humidity as cotton, which is great for keeping away bacteria. The natural fibers are dyed with a variety of eco-friendly, non-toxic dyes, which means that there's no chance of an allergic reaction from the eco-friendly underwear.
