Ukraine-Supporting Cocktail Books

Dima Deneiga Launches a Cocktail Book for Ukraine

Dima Deneiga, founder of the Dima’s Ukrainian triple-grain vodka, has released a new cocktail book dubbed ‘Budmo! Vodka Cocktails from Ukraine.’ A hierarchical sequence of up to thirteen toasts between families and friends is known as "Budmo!" in Ukraine and means "leave us be." Highlights of the book include Parovoz Bar’s ‘Green Pea Cocktail,’ the ‘Kyiv Mule,’ the ‘White Ukrainian,’ and the ‘Beetroot Bloody Mary.’

“Vodka is an integral part of the Ukrainian lifestyle with generations of expertise and tradition behind it,” says Deneiga. “With different regional flavour profiles, it crosses class and status boundaries and is suffused into the country’s culture, uniting the nation. I’m delighted to be launching our first cocktail recipe book – it’s our priority to raise as much as possible to support the humanitarian needs of Ukrainian people while also highlighting the country’s amazing culture.”

The book may be purchased separately for £25 or with a bottle of Dima's for £55; at least £5 of the earnings will be sent to First Aid Ukraine.
