The Differin Daily Deep Cleanser Thoroughly Refreshes Sensitive Skin

As a follow-up to wild success of its FDA-approved, prescription-strength retinoid acne treatment gel, Differin has now launched the Differin Daily Deep Cleanser.

The cleanser for those with sensitive skin boasts oil-absorbing properties and promises not to strip the skin of moisture or clog one's pores. The deeply cleansing, acne-fighting formula gets its strength from 5% benzoyl peroxide, a common ingredient in acne products that uses oxygen to detoxify the pores and release the buildup of excess sebum. Although some brands offer acne solutions with as much as 10% benzoyl peroxide, Differin promises that the dermatologist-developed, dual-action micronized formula that makes up its Daily Deep Cleanser is "as effective as 10% benzoyl peroxide cleansers but with less irritation and redness."
