The Kuru collection makes sculptural designer bowls available to consumers and the range is meant “for people who lose their keys.” The products are launched by Iittala – a modern Finnish homeware brand who enlisted a British-Canadian designer Philippe Malouin to curate the aesthetic of the offerings.
The designer bowls range in material – from glass to ceramic. Their function is to help organize the home, while still being able to contribute to the overall atmosphere of the interior. In terms of the color palette, Philippe Malouin kept to subdued hues like light grey, beige, and white. This allows for each of the designer bowls to be integrated with no problem in any living space and it also draws attention to the shape of the dish.
