The North Face & Vans Made This Water-Repellent 'Vault Desert Chukka'

— November 6, 2015 — Fashion
The Vault Desert Chukka was born out of a collaboration between 'The North Face' and 'Vans,' making the boots both great for the winter as well as fashion-forward. The black boots are weatherproofed, meaning they have water-repelling materials including leather and suede -- both materials are often to create durable winter shoes.

The Vans Vault Desert Chukka was also designed with a heat-retaining coating called 'Cosmo Comfort' and are lined with fur to keep a wearer's feet warm in winter. The co-branded boots have logos from both of the companies, sharing space on the footbeds and heels. The all-black shoes can be dressed up or down, with a sleek shape that resembles a casual dress shoe.
